Okay, don't throw rocks at me, but I think The Huntress is my least favorite Kate Quinn book so far. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed it, but it was a slow build, and it took me some time to fully get engrossed by the story. The last 100 pages were great, but the journey to get there felt kind of long. This is the story of Ian, a once-famous war reporter turned Nazi hunter, and Nina, an ex-member of the "Night Witches", the legendary all-female night bomber regiment in the Soviet Union. Despite all their differences, they have one thing in common: they both want to find The Huntress, a lethal Nazi murderess who disappeared after the war.

Enters Jordan, a 17-year-old Boston native young woman and passionate photography enthusiast with a wild imagination who starts asking questions when her widowed father comes home with a new fiancée, a German widow with a mysterious past. Their stories intertwined during this wild hunt for Die Jaegerin. I will say that it was very interesting to read about the war from a different perspective, and I loved to learn more about the famous Night Witches—what a badass group of women!

Bottom line, I would recommend this book.
