I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book by B.K. Borison. Typically, I don't gravitate towards holiday-themed books, even though I do like Christmas. I'm not the type of person who listens to Christmas music and watches Hallmark movies all month long. However, this book turned out to be the ideal choice for my first holiday read. The story revolves around Stella Blooms, who is living her dream of owning a tree farm in a charming little town. Unfortunately, her business is struggling, and she's dreading having to share the bad news with her friends and employees.

In a desperate attempt to save her farm, she enters a contest on social media to be featured on a popular Instagram account and potentially win $100,000. The catch is that she lied on her application, claiming to own the farm with her non-existent boyfriend, in order to impress the famous Evelyn St. James, who is known for her love of a good romance. Thankfully, Stella's best friend of 10 years, Luka, comes to the rescue. Their fake dating scenario, which eventually turns into a friends-to-lovers relationship, is a delightful trope that has been receiving a lot of praise on Booksta. It's a perfect choice for romance enthusiasts, offering just the right amount of spice. Trust me, after reading this book, you'll definitely want to add Luka to your list of book boyfriends!

Bottom line, I would recommend this book.
