I have to say, I really enjoyed this book. For a debut novel, R.J. Jacobs did an incredible job. The pace was fast, and the narrator, who has bipolar disorder, was portrayed so well. You could really feel the internal struggle she faced. I couldn't quite connect with any of the characters, though. Maybe that was intentional. Overall, it was an interesting read. It didn't completely lose me, but I wasn't fully invested in the story either. It's definitely a great choice for those who want a quick and easy read. Personally, I just wanted a little something extra.

Bottom line, I would recommend this book.

I completely agree with you about the portrayal of the narrator's bipolar disorder. It takes a skilled writer to accurately capture and convey the internal struggles of a character, and Jacobs did a fantastic job in this aspect. I give this book 4.5 stars.
Bottom line, I would recommend this book.
