Cate Cooper, a model from a troubled past, has worked hard to escape the shadows of her childhood. On paper, their worlds don’t align, but their chemistry is undeniable. Told from dual perspectives, the novel explores love under the spotlight, the pressure of expectations, and the sacrifices required to forge your own path. While the storytelling is engaging and the romance compelling, the ending left me feeling somewhat unsatisfied. It’s an enjoyable read, but it doesn’t quite capture the emotional depth of Giffin’s previous works.
