Madeline Miller

Madeline Miller is an American author, born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She studied Classics and Ancient Greek at Brown University and later received her Master's degree in the same subject from the University of Chicago. Miller's love for Greek mythology and literature is evident in her writing, which often incorporates these elements. She is best known for her debut novel "The Song of Achilles" which won the 2012 Orange Prize for Fiction and was also a New York Times Bestseller.

Her second novel, "Circe", was also met with critical acclaim and was awarded the 2019 Women's Prize for Fiction. Miller's writing is praised for its lyrical prose and ability to bring ancient stories to life in a modern context. She currently lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts with her husband and two children.
